On World Mental Health Day, I want to encourage everyone to think of every day of the year as a mental health day.
Everyday should be a day where you strive to be kinder to others — and kinder to yourself (too!).
In this day and age we’re more disconnected than we’ve ever been and small acts of kindness (no matter how small!) can go a very *very* long way.
Taking the time to listen to a friend shows that friend that at least one person cares.
And sometimes.. that’s all that person needs.
Kindness is also knowing your limits and knowing when you might need to step away to safeguard your own mental health.
Because you can’t be strong for others if you’re not strong for yourself to begin with.
If you know someone who you feel may benefit from reading this, feel free to share this message with them:
Love you all to bits.
