A few weeks ago I did a community poll on YouTube and asked you if you’d be interested in a three-part video series about the Gut Microbiome and the brain…
I’m glad to say most of you were thrilled at the idea.
In the first part of the series, we’ll discuss how the gut microbiome affects the brain and why scientists dismissed gut bacteria until very recently.
I’ll focus mainly on neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental conditions (Parkinson’s, ALS and Autism) and also describe the reasons why (some) scientists are excited about the gut microbiome believing probiotics and antibiotics to be the future of treating a variety of different brain disorders.
